I have been looking at Microsoft CRM and reading newsgroup posts. MSCRM has a lot going for it but has a couple of major flaws. The first is the lack of a feature to generate letters from within the CRM application. It is possible to do this with Email but most SME users will still rely heavily upon traditional written letters to send to contacts and accounts. Anyone should look at SalesOutlook to see how it should be implemented.

"Outlook itself has emerged as the world’s standard for e-mail software, with tens of millions of users inside many of the world’s largest corporations and government offices." - MSNBC.com, 7/12/2002

"Workers polled by the Gartner Group last year, stated they spent an average of 49 minutes a day managing their e-mail. That is 30 to 35 percent more time than the previous year. Ferris Research estimates that management level workers will spend four hours a day working with e-mail in 2002." - Special Edition - MSD2D.com Newsletter, 12/12/2002
